Kirsty was invited to Irvine Beat FM for a couple of live interviews, the first on the 28th January with Megan's Space Charity Founder, Jenny Copeland, to discuss how Kirsty was raising money for the charity through her debut single, "The Patriarchy" which got its first radio play that day on Norie's show. Kirsty was immediately called by Eddie Carr, the Radio Stations Head Honcho after hearing the song, to say how he enjoyed it and the comment about sounding like Stevie Nicks seems to have stuck.
Eddie invited Kirsty in for a more informal interview live on air, on Valentines day. With a chat about her early start in music, her debut single and what her hopes and ambitions for the future were with her songwriting.
You can listen back on the link below for the next 7 days, Kirsty was on from around 1hr 16mins
A massive thank you to all at Irvine Beat FM who continue to play and support Kirsty's debut release.
The Patriarchy is now available on all the usual streaming platforms and to purchase on iTunes and Amazon Music. Please remember 20% of proceeds are going to the two local charities, Megan's Space and Scottish Women's Aid that have supported Kirsty and her family.
